We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor with filming capabilities to support Avi & Co.’s digital and social content efforts. This role is primarily focused on post-production, with the majority of the responsibilities centered on editing and the remaining on capturing footage during events, showroom activity, and select brand initiatives.

This position plays a critical role in shaping Avi & Co.’s visual storytelling, ensuring all video content aligns with our luxury positioning, maintains a high level of polish, and performs across social and digital platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

Post-Production & Editing (Primary Focus):

  • Edit raw video footage into refined, brand-aligned content for social media, digital campaigns, and internal use.
  • Create multiple deliverables from a single shoot, including short-form vertical content, long-form edits, and platform-specific exports.
  • Apply color correction, basic color grading, sound balancing, and light motion graphics to elevate final outputs.
  • Optimize videos for platform performance across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (Shorts & long-form), LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Maintain consistent pacing, tone, and visual standards in line with Avi & Co.’s luxury brand identity.
  • Manage and organize video assets, project files, and exports using established internal workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and social media teams to interpret creative direction and feedback efficiently.
  • Meet tight turnaround times while maintaining high production quality.

Filming & Content Capture (Secondary Focus):

  • Capture high-quality video footage during in-store moments, brand events, campaigns, and select external activations.
  • Operate professional video equipment and, when appropriate, mobile setups for social-first content.
  • Ensure footage is captured with post-production needs in mind (framing, lighting, continuity).
  • Assist in planning shots and coverage requirements in advance of filming days.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer/Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with color grading and sound editing.
  • Understanding of video compression and optimization for various platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and the types of video content that perform well on each.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.
  • Stay current with video editing trends, platform formats, and social-first storytelling techniques.
  • Assist in refining video content strategies to improve engagement and performance.
  • Review performance metrics to inform future edits and creative decisions.
  • Maintain video equipment and ensure readiness for filming days.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $60,000-$70,000.

Benefits:

  • VSP Vision & Guardian Dental Insurance.
  • Time Away (Paid time off, paid sick days, paid holidays).
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Creative and collaborative work environment.
