If you are a motivated analog designer with skills and interests in developing analog IP blocks that will be used in most cellphones sold today, Skyworks’ mobile solutions IP team is looking for you! As a part of the Mobile Solutions Business Unit’s IP development team, you will work on analog building blocks for all of the business unit’s RFFE products. You will be designing analog and mixed signal blocks such as DACs, regulators, and sensors in a variety of SOI and bulk CMOS processes. The work involves developing, updating, and maintaining IP libraries as well as guiding and helping our design community in their integration and performance verification.

The designer would also be engaged in application of AI techniques in design and characterization of variety of analog and mixed signal circuits. This role combines traditional circuit design expertise with modern AI-driven methodologies to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency in next-generation RFFE modules .

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop analog IP blocks to meet requirements of various product s . Generate all necessary collaterals including documentation and integration guides.
• Perform simulation, validation, and testing of circuits using industry-standard tools
• Update existing IP designs to serve the needs of various design team
• Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance circuit design workflows, including optimization, predictive modeling, and automated verification
  
   

Required Experience and Skills

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skill
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing analog IP blocks: TIA, Bandgap, ADC, DAC, temperature sensor, LDO, and OTP fuse block designs
• Fluency in virtuoso design environment from schematic capture to GDSII
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts (e.g., neural networks, optimization algorithms, reinforcement learning).  

• Track record of designs that resulted in high-volume manufacturing

• MS and 12+ years’/PHD and 8+ years’ experience in electrical engineering or similar field
• Layout floor planning and design experience
• Verilog-A modeling

Desired Experience and Skills

Preferred Qualifications

•   Background designing RF circuits such as LNA or PA
• Hands on experience using analog lab equipment
• Python programming
• Proficiency in on-chip and off-chip isolation techniques to prevent digital interference
