Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235
Duration/Hours: 3 Months, 37.5 hours/week, 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week
We are seeking a Pharmacist to support medication dispensing, sterile processing, IV preparation, and related clinical and operational pharmacy functions. The role requires a licensed professional with strong attention to detail, familiarity with pharmacy systems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDispense medications accurately in compliance with regulations and established standards.
Support sterile processing and IV room preparation .
Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and maintain accurate medication records.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and institutional policies.
Support medication safety initiatives and ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist .
Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems .
Sterile processing and IV room preparation experience.
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
Valid Pharmacist license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) .
Primary Source Verification of licensure required.
