Education & Experience


Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field


5+ years of relevant experience


[OR] equivalent level of education and experience


Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies


Strong knowledge of the AS400 or iSeries system and work experience in the AS400 or iSeries hardware.


System administration, including AS400 access management, security, and printers.


Management of AS400 scheduled and interactive jobs.


Experience with AS400 COBOL, Synon, RPG, ILE, CL, SQL, and SDA.


Basic AS400 admin commands like Basic Knowledge in SQLRPGLE, DB2/400, SPL/400, PDM, SDA, SEU, RLU, WRKQRY.


Experience with development of various Web Technologies and Web Services.


Prior experience with Version Control, Object Oriented Programming and Relational Database Systems/Data Management preferred.


Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.


Strong oral and written communications skills.


Ability to understand and utilize a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.


Ability to generate innovative solutions for Business Requirements.


Ability to work well independently or within a team.
