Herrmann Construction Company, a leading residential and commercial concrete contractor, is seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our team. As a Finisher, you’ll be responsible for placing, finishing, and detailing concrete to the highest quality standards on driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, and other custom concrete projects. Responsibilities: Concrete Work • Place, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power tools • Perform finishing techniques: broom, swirl, edging, troweling, and decorative stamping • Apply sealers and surface treatments as required • Ensure proper curing and protection of finished concrete Jobsite Duties • Assist with form setting, reinforcement placement, and prep work as needed • Work closely with the foreman and crew to meet project deadlines • Maintain jobsite cleanliness and safety standards • Operate equipment safely and responsibly Quality & Craftsmanship • Ensure all concrete work meets company standards for durability and appearance • Pay attention to detail in edges, joints, textures, and finishes • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving on pours Qualifications: Requirements • 2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher (residential or commercial) • Ability to use finishing tools (floats, trowels, edgers, jointers, stamps, etc.) • Strong understanding of concrete curing, mix behavior, and weather conditions • Physical ability to perform demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) • Team player with reliable transportation • Safety-first mindset About Company: At Herrmann Construction Co LLC, we don’t just pour concrete — we build careers, families, and futures.
