In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) industry. Your expertise will be vital in driving the integration of advanced communication technologies into next-generation vehicles, ensuring safety and performance align with industry standards. You will collaborate directly with customers to provide architectural guidance and deliver tailored software solutions, significantly impacting the automotive sector. Accountabilities

• Drive the integration of Connext Drive as the core connectivity platform in both safety-critical and non-safety systems.
• Translate high-level vehicle functional needs into technical Connext Drive requirements and establish end-to-end traceability.
• Drive Connext Drive integration strategies with AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive platforms.
• Work with customer safety teams to ensure Connext Drive integration aligns with ISO 26262 and cybersecurity requirements.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the performance and robustness of Connext Drive.
• Articulate detailed automotive use cases and track customer requirements for roadmap integration.
• Analyze and define data modeling and QoS configurations for safe coexistence of critical traffic.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, interface definitions, and configuration guidelines.
• Lead discussions and mentor platform teams to ensure architectural consistency.
• Create shared artifacts to help customers accelerate their transition to SDVs with Connext Drive.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience at an Automotive OEM or leading Tier-1 supplier.
• Experience delivering end-to-end architecture solutions.
• Expertise in defining E/E architecture designs for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, and Ethernet.
• Understanding of functional safety concepts and their application in vehicle communication.
• Experience with ROS 2, Adaptive AUTOSAR, or similar middleware frameworks.
• Ability to write structured requirements and architectural documentation.
• Performance analysis experience to evaluate communication frameworks.
• Exceptional team player with relationship-building skills and ability to work in distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel 25-40% for customer engagement.
