Position Title: RN – Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $66–$76/hr
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support clinical staff through education, training, and clinical guidance. This role requires a strong clinical background and experience to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver educational programs and training for nursing staff
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to enhance staff competencies
Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure adherence to hospital policies and best practices
Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives within clinical units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care
Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
Solid clinical background
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure:
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA BLS Certification
