BrightStar Care of Fredericksburg-Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled High-Tech Case BrightStar Care of Fredericksburg is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a skilled, high-tech case in a one-on-one care setting. This role is ideal for an RN who excels in a clinical, high-acuity environment while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Position Details:

• High-tech skilled nursing case
• Shift: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (unless additional hours are requested)
• Fridays and weekends: one month on / one month off rotation
• Rotation changes every 30 days
• PRN (as needed) availability encouraged

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing skilled nursing assessment care in a home setting
• Daily Documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
• Medication management
• G-Tube utilization, care, and maintenance
• Work closely with the care team
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly
• Accurate documentation and care coordination
• Ensuring compliance with physician orders and individualized care plans
• Utilize Assistive devices (wheelchairs, communication devices, mobility aids)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia or Multi-State
• Experience with high-tech or skilled nursing cases preferred
• Proven competency with G-tube medication administration
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a one-on-one care environment
• Must successfully pass an extensive background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Clean driving record required
