Job Description
Paramint LLC is seeking an experienced NG911 NYPD QA Tester to support the ongoing implementation and upgrade of New York City’s Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) emergency call-handling system. This role supports Class 1/2/3 call handling and logging & recording upgrades and provides hands-on quality assurance expertise during system configuration, testing, and validation phases.
The QA Tester will work closely with vendors, technical teams, and public safety stakeholders to ensure NG911 solutions meet functional, operational, and performance requirements in a mission-critical public safety environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesNG911 Quality Assurance
- Review vendor-provided test plans and test scripts ; provide detailed feedback and recommendations
- Participate in all QA-related meetings and testing activities
- Understand and validate both technical and operational requirements
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts aligned with project requirements
- Log, track, and validate defects; work with vendors and technical teams to resolve issues
- Produce detailed test results, defect reports, and QA metrics
Testing & Validation
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for NG911 applications
- Validate Class 2 call handling , Logging & Recording , and related systems
- Execute test cases across ATP, SAT, SIT, and UAT phases
- Validate CRUD operations and system behavior across integrated components
- Support performance and database validation testing as required
Required Qualifications (Mandatory)
Candidates without the mandatory qualifications will not be considered.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a QA Tester
- 4+ years of QA analysis experience in a public safety communications environment
- Hands-on experience with Logging and Recording QA analysis
- Experience performing Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) QA analysis
- Strong understanding of structured QA methodologies and testing documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NG911 testing environments , including Class 2 call handling
- Experience with ATP, SAT, SIT, and UAT testing phases
- Experience developing comprehensive logging and recording test scenarios and scripts
- Hands-on testing experience with NICE Inform Logging & Recording applications
- SME-level experience with CAD systems
- Strong test documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams
- Experience producing detailed QA and test execution reports
