Location: Brooklyn, NY Pay: $25-$26 an hour Shift: 11pm-7am Monday-Fridat **Job Description** This Printing Press Operator is responsible for safely operating flexographic printing equipment, ensuring print quality, coordinating with the support crew, and maintaining productivity standards. The Press Operator also prepares the press for jobs, loads materials, checks for print quality, and stages completed work for pickup. **Responsibilities** + Operate flexographic press and monitor print quality. + Load film and ink; set machine conditions including temperature, tension, and registration. + Review job specifications and ensure accurate setup. + Coordinate with crew to stage materials, plates, inks, and supplies. + Inspect printed film for defects and make necessary adjustments. + Track production data including speed, materials, defects, and downtime. + Troubleshoot issues related to quality, waste, and throughput. + Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks. + Move completed jobs to pallets for pickup. **Essential Skills** + Experience in printing press and machine operation. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Knowledge of printing and laminating processes. + Computer literacy. + Ability to perform calculations involving decimals and fractions. + Proficiency in reading a ruler. + Ability to interpret work orders and Print Master. **APPLY TODAY!!** **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52312.00 - $53872.00/yr.
