We are seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to support the Cleans toolsets at a semiconductor fab in Chandler, AZ. This individual must be an expert in both batch wet bench toolsets and single wafer cleaning equipment, as they will spearhead the technicians' efforts and closely collaborate with the process team. As a tool owner, the Equipment Engineer will be responsible for identifying long-term trends to reduce sources of variation and implementing zero defect processes. Additionally, this role involves creating hard down action plans to drive to root cause, defining and improving tool maintenance procedures, reducing overall equipment and scrap costs, and developing and writing specifications. Less frequent but equally important tasks for this role include identifying and qualifying new tools, defining tool qualification procedures, and supporting development or transfer activities.
The ideal candidate for our team would possess extensive hands-on experience as a tool owner, specifically in managing cleans toolsets. We're seeking someone who is committed to working directly with technicians to address escalations, while also utilizing time outside the fab to implement long-term changes aimed at reducing tool downtime and preventing future product defects.

Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years of experience supporting semiconductor cleans equipment, preferably with the toolsets below:
o Akrion: SCP 9400, GAMA
o Screen: WS-802L
- Strong in fab experience, working alongside the technicians and process engineering team, to resolve equipment failures
- Ability to identify tool trends over time and recommend resolutions for reoccurring issues
- Ability to use SPC, 5S, and FDC systems
- Bachelors Degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or similar discipline - Lean Manufacturing Certification
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional)
