Job Title: Pharmacist (Level I)
Location: New York City, NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4 Days/Week | 10 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary: Seeking a Pharmacist Level I to provide safe, accurate, and timely medication services while supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This role involves clinical decision-making, patient education, and medication therapy management across multiple care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Provide pharmacological guidance to healthcare teams
Monitor and evaluate patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness
Resolve formulary and non-formulary medication inquiries per policy
Deliver patient education on medication usage, dosing, side effects, and drug interactions
Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and age-based dosing
Ability to provide therapeutic recommendations based on clinical literature
Experience in patient counseling and medication education
Ability to work across diverse clinical units
Additional Required Skills:
Chemotherapy preparation experience
Floating experience across critical care, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, medicine, and cardiac units
Education & Qualifications:
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist with 0–2 years of experience
