PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I (PERMANENT FULL-TIME) - DIABLO DISTRICT - SAN JUAN BAUTISTA STATE HISTORIC PARK
This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The incumbent’s work schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) , this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing. It should be noted that testing is not mandatory, but is allowed to be conducted only if and when there is a determination of reasonable suspicion as defined in CCR . The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. State Housing is not available. Typical work activities involve frequent periods of bending, stooping and lifting.
May require heavy physical work including lifting, pushing or pulling.

May be required to work in other units throughout the district as needed.
