Colorado Outdoor Creations LTD is seeking to fill seventeen (17) temporary, full-time seasonal Outdoor Laborer positions for April 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026. Worksite: 601 S Bowen St, Ste 118, Longmont,
CO 80501 and multiple sites in Boulder, Weld, Larimer, Grand, Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson and Arapahoe Counties in Colorado.
Job Duties:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Assist with construction of outdoor structures such as pergolas, covered sunshade awnings with wood or block materials. Construction of outdoor firepit areas with natural or veneer stone, brick, blocks, or similar material. Lay out, cut, and place segmental paving units. Includes installers of bedding and restraining materials for the paving units. Prepare base for installation by removing unstable or unsuitable materials, compacting and grading the soil, draining or stabilizing weak or saturated soils and taking measures to prevent water penetration and migration of bedding sand. Supply and place base materials, edge restraints, bedding sand and jointing sand. Set pavers, aligning and spacing them correctly. Sweep sand into the joints and compact pavement until the joints are full. Screed sand level to an even thickness, and recheck sand exposed to elements, raking and rescreeding if necessary. Cut paving stones to size and for edges, using a splitter and a masonry saw. Compact bedding sand and pavers to finish the paved area, using a plate compactor. Sweep sand from the surface prior to opening to traffic. Resurface an outside area with cobblestones, terracotta tiles, concrete or other materials. Cement the edges of the paved area. Clean tools and equipment, as well as worksite after project is complete.
Requirements: No education or experience required.
Special Requirements:
Must be age 18 or older. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Must be able to perform manual physical labor outside during all weather conditions. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident.
Terms and conditions of employment: $27.36 hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $41.04 per hour.
Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-4:30PM. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Employer provides incidental transportation between worksites as necessary. No daily transportation to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Such transportation complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations. Workers will begin each day at the worksite address. They will then be transported, free of charge, to properties located throughout the listed areas, to provide the listed services. They will then be transported back to the worksite address at the end of each work day.
ER will make all deductions from EE's paycheck required by law & none w/o consent. If needed, ER will help arrange optional EE-paid lodging for foreign & non-local U.S. EEs. ER may deduct FMV rent & utils based on # of occupants. Housing costs are paid directly to facility owner/operator, not payroll deducted. ER offers daily trans. to/from worksite from a centralized pick-uppoint at no cost to EE. Use is voluntary. All trans. complies w/ laws & regs. Possible cash adv., if requested by EE, may be payroll deducted. Under CO's Healthy Families & Workplaces Act (HFWA), ER gives 1 hr accrued, pd leave per 30 hrs worked, up to 48 hrs/yr. ER provides 1st set of company shirts free. Option to buy add'l uniform items, payroll deducted. EE may be allowed to drive shared co. vehicle home daily at no cost; traffic tickets/tolls payroll deducted. EE pays for personal-use fuel.
The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
