As a Motion Designer, you'll apply your passion for animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems. You'll help define and implement Google's motion design language and you'll think critically about how motion reinforces Google's UX brand, enhances interactivity, and delights our users. As a Motion Designer on the Google Home UX Studio team, you will be responsible for creating the motion language for the entire Google Home ecosystem, including apps, smart hubs, and Nest devices. You will work separately on motion design for new features, create high-fidelity prototypes, and contribute to the evolution of the Google Home motion design system to ensure a cohesive user experience. The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users' homes more helpful. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
