What You’ll Do as a Memory Care Manager
- Lead with heart: Recruit, train, and mentor your team while creating an environment built on trust, compassion, and respect.
- Inspire & empower staff: Provide coaching, recognition, and professional development to help your team succeed.
- Deliver exceptional care: Collaborate with families, providers, and staff to ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality support using the Best Friends™ Approach to Alzheimer’s care.
- Ensure safety & compliance: Oversee care plans, safety protocols, and documentation while maintaining regulatory standards.
- Engage & connect: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the community through events, programs, and meaningful interactions.
- Support operations: Manage departmental budgets, assist with marketing and outreach, and keep the neighborhood welcoming, safe, and organized.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Geriatrics, Elder Care, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of leadership experience with proven supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of facility licensure regulations, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and social media.
- A warm, approachable personality with a passion for seniors and memory care.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and step into other roles as needed.
