Job Summary: The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring the highest level of customer service and professionalism. This role requires delivering personalized treatments, maintaining a clean and inviting work environment, and supporting the spa's overall operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, and aromatherapy massages.
• Assess guest needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Uphold the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness within the treatment rooms and spa areas.
• Provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of spa services, products, and promotions to up-sell treatments and retail products.
• Ensure proper setup and breakdown of treatment rooms, including sanitizing tools and replenishing linens and supplies.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with other spa team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Attend mandatory training and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Massage Therapy License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a luxury spa or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and body treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to perform treatments and stand for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Dexterity and strength to perform repetitive massage movements.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required for treatments.
• Comfortable working in a humid spa environment.

Pay Range and Compensation

• $60.00-$80.00 per hour plus gratuities
• Opportunities for professional development and training.
• Assistance with seasonal housing (if applicable).
