Job Description

What We Are Looking For:

2 - 5 years or more experience industrial or manufacturing electro-mechanical maintenance, or equivalent military background.
Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and electrical/mechanical equipment.
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
Excellent references and attendance record is a must.
Ability to troubleshoot / repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
Knowledge and Ability to use standard measurement tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret equipment tech manuals, schematics and blueprints.
Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner.

What Will Put You Ahead:

Licensed Industrial Tradesman.
NCDOL Journeyman Apprentice - Trade Skills Program.
Previous maintenance experience in a Fiber Optics Cabling organization.
Experience programming PLCs.
Experience working with 24v, 120v, 240v and 480/3-phase electrical knowledge.
Experience with MIG, TIG, Arc welding.
Experience with a manual lathe and milling machine.
Multi-craft capabilities such as: welding, pipe fitting, precision millwright, and lubrication/filtration.

Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays to support emergencies and planned maintenance activities.
