Responsibilities: • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies • Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date Qualifications: • Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Skilled with Microsoft Office • Must live in or near Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens About Company: About NYL - Melville: We are among the strongest and most respected financial companies in the world.
