About the Role:
Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to launch their accounting career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team on reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
