Housekeeper Princeton, NJ Our clients are hiring an experienced and professional Housekeeper for their home in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a unique opportunity for a meticulous and focused individual who takes immense pride in caring for a fine home. Responsibilities The successful candidate will ensure the orderly operation and immaculate cleanliness of the home, including: Perform daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning, including thorough daily graces (tending to kitchen, baths, and bedrooms). Provide thoughtful, informed care for all fine furnishings and materials, including antiques, artwork, crystal, fine china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens, and high-end cookware. Care for all household and personal laundry, including ironing, pressing, steaming, and managing dry cleaning. Organize and maintain all clothing, closets, and drawers. Maintain and organize the kitchen and household supply inventories. Assist with seasonal projects (e.g., cleaning pantry/refrigerator). Handle deliveries. Attend to guests needs, assist with serving at events, and perform light meal prep (e.g., cutting fruit). Perform a daily walk-through, noting and reporting any potential maintenance issues to the principals/Property Manager. Assist with the care of the principals cats. Qualifications Prior, verifiable experience in a similar private household position. Sound knowledge of proper care protocols for fine materials and high-value items. Hard-working, meticulous, and highly detail-oriented with strong organization skills. Easily adheres to cleaning checklists and preferred protocols. Professional demeanor, pleasant personality, and appearance. Utmost discretion and respect for privacy; willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement is required. Able to communicate effectively and readily with principals and other staff. Resourceful and proactive (will take initiative). Must possess a valid drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and a dependable vehicle for work and errands. Legally eligible to work in the U.S. and willing to comply with post-offer requirements. Compensation Terms Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility for events. Base Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits: Annual discretionary bonus, health insurance stipend (if needed), PTO, and paid holidays. #indmps
