The Role

We’re seeking a Brand Designer with 4-6+ years of experience at an agency, studio or in-house brand. As a brand designer you will concept, create and design brand marks and identities along with supporting visual systems and materials. Brand work for our clients is typically applied to interfaces, websites, social media, templates and occasionally physical products. If you’re a visual problem solver who is passionate and enthusiastic about well crafted branding and design, we’d love to talk to you. 

Qualifications

• A high-caliber portfolio showcasing a variety of logos and digital projects. Sophisticated sense of design, composition, typography, animation and strong strategic conceptual skills

• Ability to lead brand projects from start to finish — from early states of discovery and ideation all the way to a production ready logo and brand guidelines 

• Experience creating and maintaining design systems

• Able to articulate vision and sell through concepts and ideas with confidence and clarity

• The ability to lead projects with autonomy and authority, and provide mentorship to members of the design team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate

• Ability to present to stakeholders and articulate and defend design decisions

• A willingness to define and navigate ambiguity, pivoting quickly with changing priorities 

• A proactive and open attitude with the ability to ask questions in times of uncertainty or ambiguity 

• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines 

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

Bonus Points

• Illustration or crafting experience 

• Knowledge of video-editing, video production equipment, including cinema cameras, and still photography

• Experience in motion graphics or 3D modeling software such as After Effects, Blender, Cinema4D, etc.

• Passionate curiosity about the internet, design, trends, and culture

• An overall technical knowledge and general curiosity in future-forward tech
