The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $149,866.00 to $187,110.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

Join Pernod Ricard as the Director, Sustainability & Responsibility for Pernod Ricard North America (PRNA) and lead initiatives that drive measurable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact across the organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People and Business Operations, you will oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, implement ESG strategy, and manage Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance. This role offers the opportunity to influence cross-functional teams, engage key stakeholders, and build innovative partnerships that advance Pernod Ricard's mission of responsible growth and impact measurement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) initiatives, including data collection, platform registration, and accurate report submission to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies to deliver measurable impact across all business functions.
  • Design, execute, and monitor Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to maximize positive outcomes for communities and stakeholders.
  • Oversee change management initiatives, providing guidance, training, and support to teams adopting sustainable practices.
  • Build and manage internal and external strategic partnerships to advance sustainability efforts, drive innovation, and implement best practices.
  • Partner with Finance and Public Affairs to ensure local regulatory alignment and provide expertise on sustainability-related policies.
  • Report on ESG, sustainability, and CSR progress and impact to the Vice President and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
  • Experience implementing ESG frameworks, reporting processes, and impact measurement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate social responsibility (CSR) program design, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated change management skills, including training and adoption of sustainability initiatives.
  • Experience building and managing external partnerships to advance sustainability, innovation, and responsible growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
