Dental Hygienist  

A Dental Hygienist is needed in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Surrounded by lakes and forest, Waupaca offers a peaceful, close-knit community perfect for those who love small-town living with big impact. This position is with a highly respected Federally Qualified Health Center offering full-scope dental services in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay range: $40/hour (entry-level) to $46/hour (25+ years of experience)
• Full-time, 4-day work week with Fridays off
• Hygienists choose their own schedules
• Health Insurance: 70% employer-paid, plus 75% of out-of-pocket costs
• Dental and Vision Insurance: approximately $194 per year
• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks PTO in the first year, 7 paid holidays (1 floating holiday)
• CME: $500 annual allowance (no paid time)
• Retirement: 403(b) and IRA with 4% employer match, fully vested after 4 years
• Life Insurance: $100,000 policy provided
• Short-term and long-term disability: 100% employer-paid
• Relocation: $3,000 for out-of-state hires
• Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for NHSC (up to $50,000) and WI Office of Rural Health (up to $25,000)

• EMR System: Dentrix

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and preventive hygiene services in an FQHC setting
• One-hour appointments for all patients based on age and procedure
• Split patient base: 50% adults and 50% children (age 4+)
• Coordinate with the Oral Health Director and full clinical team
• Promote oral hygiene and wellness across the patient population

Requirements

• Licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of Wisconsin
• Open to new graduates
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
