Job Description

Pay: $75,000.00 - $178,000.00 per year

Location: This is a fully on-site role based in New York City, offering daily collaboration with attorneys and deal teams in a fast-paced, high-caliber environment.

Note: Must have prior paralegal experience in securities and/or general corporate law and a completed BA/BS degree.

Job Description

  • Assist with company formations, entity management, and ongoing corporate compliance
  • Support venture capital financings for private companies, including deal coordination and closings
  • Provide transactional support for mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and related corporate matters
  • Assist with IPO and other securities offering support as needed
  • Help administer stock incentive and equity programs, including securities compliance components
  • Draft and manage transaction documents, checklists, signatures, and closing materials
  • Maintain organized records and manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Experience as a paralegal in securities and/or general corporate law
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing shifting priorities
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
