Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a well-established, multi-tenant office building in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels in tenant relations, leasing, staff management, and building operations.
This is a highly visible, on-site position requiring strong communication skills, operational expertise, and the ability to manage both people and property with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of a commercial office building.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants.
- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships.
- Handle leasing activities, renewals, and space showings.
- Manage vendors, contracts, and service providers.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep.
- Supervise on-site staff and coordinate daily workflows.
- Maintain accurate rent rolls and lease documentation.
- Ensure building operations run smoothly and professionally.
- Respond to after-hours building needs as required.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial property management experience required.
- Office building experience required.
- Apartment-only or warehouse-only experience will not be considered.
- Proven experience with leasing and lease selling.
- Strong knowledge of building operations and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage staff and multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
